We’re a local community of aviation enthusiasts — pilots, builders, students, and supporters — dedicated to education, safety, and growing the joy of flight at Camarillo Airport.
August is a big month for Camarillo Airport
Our chapter 723 will have a booth at this year’s Airshow (Aug 16th & Aug 17th). We’re also looking for volunteers who can man our booth, promote our chapter, attract younger folks to get into aviation, and promote building experimental airplanes.
The chapter’s success and respect in the community comes from member contributions and hard work — including yours.
Our participation has been a critical part of Wings Over Camarillo’s success. Over the years, active participation has helped create seamless events and has resulted in our chapter receiving significant donations from the WOC organization. I encourage everyone to contact the WOC organizers and volunteer for one of the open slots. I’ve volunteered for about 25 years, and I find it extremely rewarding.
We’ll have a general membership meeting this Saturday. I look forward to seeing you this Saturday at 9:30.
